Getting connected

  • Two minutes, once. In the web app, open Connectors and choose Text Dagny. Enter your mobile number, Dagny texts you a 6-digit code, type it back, done.
  • Save the contact. Dagny sends its contact card after you connect, so it shows up in Messages by name, not as a random number.
  • Rolling out. Texting Dagny is in beta, so it may not be switched on for your workspace just yet.

Texting Dagny

  • Ask in plain words.Sales, website visitors, what's on this week. Dagny thinks first, then sends one complete answer, no wall of fragments.
  • Charts arrive as pictures. Ask about your numbers and the chart lands right in the thread.
  • Files come to you. Ask for a report or a spreadsheet and Dagny attaches the finished file to the conversation.
  • More than one business? Dagny asks which one you mean and remembers. Text switch to change.

Not yet

  • Photos and attachments. Texting is words-only for now. Share screenshots and files in Slack or the web app.
  • Texting first.Dagny replies when you text; it doesn't start conversations. The exception is a scheduled update you've asked for, which can deliver by text.
  • Group chats.It's a one-to-one thread for now.
